Jeffrey
Jeffrey and Kelsey Chalko-Mique are credentialed ministers with Assemblies of God and US Missionaries with Chi Alpha Campus Ministries. They are both alumni of San Diego State University with Bachelors in Religious Studies. Kelsey also earned her masters in intercultural counseling at San Diego State University.
They have served on staff with Chi Alpha in San Diego for 5 years. Now they serve campus directors of Chi Alpha Hawaii at the University of Hawaii on the island of Oahu.
In addition to their work with Chi Alpha, Kelsey and Jeffrey also serve as national youth directors for the Filipino American Ethnic Fellowship of the Assemblies of God.
Jeff and Kelsey have been married for over 7 years and have a 3 year old daughter named Maisy. Jeff loves snorkeling and Kelsey loves board games! They love trying new asian food together as a family!

Hailey
Surr and Hailey both grew up in California and went to college at Sacramento State. During college they grew in their faith and their passion for seeing young adults experience healing and freedom in Jesus.
Hailey graduated with a Bachelor’s in Child Development and minor in Counseling. She loves hiking, paddle boarding, and spending quality time with friends and family eating good food and having deep conversations with lots of laughter.
Surr graduated with a Bachelor’s in Communication Studies and felt called to give his life to missions. Surr loves trying new food, learning about different cultures, fishing, playing sports, and spending quality time with friends and family.
Hailey and Surr served as full time campus missionaries at Sacramento State before joining the Hawaii Chi Alpha team.
They have now been married for over 3 years and have a 1 year old daughter. They are filled with faith to see students know Jesus & are so grateful to have the honor of partnering with what God is doing in the islands of Hawaii.
Esther Tang

Esther Tang was born and primarily raised on the island of O‘ahu, with some time spent in Northern California. As a recent graduate of the University of Hawaii at Mānoa, she has a passion to see students discover and grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Esther graduated from UH Mānoa with a double major in English and Psychology with a minor in Dance. After serving as a student leader for three years, she felt God call her to give a year as an intern for Chi Alpha Hawaiʻi.
Esther’s passionate about telling stories and loves to use the mediums of dance and writing (with a particular love for poetry and creative non-fiction) to do so. In her spare time, she enjoys deep conversations, hiking, shelling, word games, cooking, and quality time with friends and family.
