Jeffrey & kelsey chalko-mique
chi alpha hawaii directors
Jeffrey and Kelsey Chalko-Mique are credentialed ministers with Assemblies of God and US Missionaries with Chi Alpha Campus Ministries. They are both alumni of San Diego State University with Bachelors in Religious Studies. Kelsey also earned her masters in intercultural counseling at San Diego State University.
They have served on staff with Chi Alpha in San Diego for 5 years. Now they serve campus directors of Chi Alpha Hawaii at the University of Hawaii on the island of Oahu.
In addition to their work with Chi Alpha, Kelsey and Jeffrey also serve as national youth directors for the Filipino American Ethnic Fellowship of the Assemblies of God.
Jeff and Kelsey have been married for over 8 years and have a 4 year old daughter named Maisy. Jeff loves snorkeling and Kelsey loves board games! They love trying new asian food together as a family!

Ben and Abigail Immel are Campus Missionaries in Training (CMIT) with Chi Alpha Campus Ministries, currently serving with Chi Alpha at the University of Hawai‘i Mānoa on the island of Oahu.
Ben graduated from the University of Missouri in 2025 with a degree in General Studies, while Abigail graduated in 2026 with her master’s degree in Accounting. Ben has been involved with Chi Alpha since 2019 and served as a student leader for three years, including two years as Vice President. Abigail has been involved with Chi Alpha since 2021 and served as a student leader for four years, including two years as President. They both served with Chi Alpha in Missouri before moving to Hawaii to continue serving college students together.
Ben and Abigail were married on May 30, 2026. Ben enjoys fishing, while Abigail loves hiking. Together, they enjoy exploring new places and going on adventures. They are excited for this new season of life and ministry and are grateful for the opportunity to serve students in Hawaii.

Destiny Yasuhara recently graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2026 with a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance. She has served as a student leader at Chi Alpha Hawaii for the last three years, helping to pioneer the chapter in Hawaii with Jeff and Kelsey. In 2025, she felt called to serve full-time as Campus Missionary in Training (CMIT) with Chi Alpha Campus Ministries to Chi Alpha Hawaii following her graduation. She is excited to serve the community where she rededicated her life to Jesus and is hopeful that more students, local, out-of-state, and international, will be able to find Jesus-centered community in Chi Alpha Hawaii.
Destiny enjoys a plethora of hobbies, including, but not limited to, baking, cooking, eating new food, golf, hiking, shelling, acrobatics, dance, Pilates, horseback riding, and traveling. She enjoys getting to learn new things and would love to pick up more hobbies with people that enjoy doing them!
